Reduced Sugar Cranberry Sauce

This fresh cranberry sauce has no added sugar.  I use all natural stevia instead.  The flavor is balanced with a little fresh orange juice, orange zest and cloves.


*Reduced Sugar


1 - 12 oz bag fresh cranberries

1/3 cup stevia

1/2  cup fresh orange juice

1/2 cup water

1 TBS orange zest

4 whole cloves or 1/4 tsp ground cloves (optional)

pinch of salt.



In a saucepan with a lid, add the orange juice, zest, cranberries, cloves and salt.  Bring to a simmer over medium heat.  Cover and let simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Stir in the stevia.  Let simmer uncovered until the moisture is reduces.  Add more stevia if desired.
