Hi Everyone! Welcome to my kitchen!

My passion is food.  I also understand how important it is to stay fit and healthy. So I have taken my favorite recipes from around the world and made them healthier. I use ingredient substitutions and creative cooking methods to turn even the most decadent recipes into "guiltless" gourmet.

I also care a great deal about the well-being of our planet and I make the effort to use eco-friendly products. I buy organic, shop local as often as possible, and search out exciting vegetarian options.

Talking With Lightlife at the Natural Products Expo West

In March, I went to the Natural Products Expo West. I had the chance to speak with the good folks of Lightlife about their new products for 2012, including grill-able veggie dogs - just in time for your Memorial Day celebrations!

I really love having planet-friendly, vegan options for old favorites like hot dogs and burgers.

But what I really love about Lightlife is how they've gotten involved in urban farming initiatives across the country, to help end hunger through community gardens.
